4-Prong Generator Y-Splitter Cord

The Cable Matters 4-Prong Generator Power Y-Splitter Adapter Cord is an essential accessory for any generator with a 30A locking receptacle. Easily connect 20 amp or 15 amp standard, grounded AC power cords to power your equipment from a generator. The AC outlets have integrated LED lights that are easy to see in low light and verify that the power is flowing. A locking L-14 polarized plug is designed to provide a safe and secure connection.

Important Notes

  • Check that your generator is switched to the 120/240V setting
  • Only 1 leg on the adapter is powered when using a 120V setting
  • Check the outlets on your generator. This is not compatible with a 3-prong locking receptacle
  • Spread the load between the two outlets to avoid overloading

30A to 20 Amp Adapter

Outdoor Generator Adapter Cord

The weather and oil-resistant STOW 4-conductor cable jacket on this generator adapter cord is rated up to 600 volts to prevent overheating. Heavy-duty 10 gauge copper wire in the cord provides reliable power transmission. Connect to a 30-amp generator receptacle to safely power 120V equipment.

  • Each leg supports up to 2500W max
  • Allow for a start-up power spike
  • 2000W is the max recommended watt rating for operation

Important Note

Check that your generator is switched to the 240V setting. The 240 voltage is split into 120V for each 20A outlet.
